Lee Van Ham in Bottom Up Radio, Rob Kall, interviews

A quick look at the topics and interviews Rob Kall does on his weekly radio show reveals his interest in all things that are changing the world. Be sure you go to his website, but, for the moment, consider these examples:

(1) printing a car with 3-D printing (already happening)

(2) conscious evolution, an interview with futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard

(3) public education, an interview with former Education Secretary Diane Ravitch who turned against No Child Left Behind

(4) an interview with Fritjof Capra on how systems thinking rooted in life sciences is replacing civilization’s inaccurate mechanistic thinking—a paradigm that science has used for more than 200 years.

In April, Rob called me one morning, around 11 o’clock, and asked me to be on his show later that day. It’d been over a year since he’d asked me for a review copy of my book, Blinded by Progress, so, given the lapse of time, I no longer expected to hear from him. But I was wrong! and happily so. His show originates in the Philadelphia area, and from there radiates out through his website as well as posting his podcasts on iTunes.

It was great fun talking with Rob over the hour long interview. His style not only posed his questions to me, but also opened the conversation for me to talk about what I consider the more important parts of the book. He’s also invited me to post excerpts on his OpEd News page. Which reminds me, I better hurry and get some parts up there while it’s all still fresh in my mind.
